AWARD

The smart TV Fitness Service provides an environment for easy, convenient exercising in the home and recommends diverse exercise content.

The screen of the Fitness Service is designed to conjure up images of a high-class fitness center, thus motivating the user to exercise. The atmosphere and functions provided by the service are similar to those offered at fitness centers. There is a personal trainer to guide the user on how to create a profile and adjust the settings, including exercise goals.

The user enters his profile and sets a weight reduction target. This allows the user to accurately plan how much exercise he needs to do. The first screen of the service displays the user’s exercise goal and progress, thus encouraging the user to make steady efforts towards realizing the goal. Once the user achieves his goal or completes a mission, he receives various medals. This information can be shared with others via SNS. This way, the user can let others know of his progress and achievements.

The service makes recommendations according to the user’s exercise patterns and profile. In addition to the recommended exercise, the user can easily search for and enjoy diverse exercise content using the ‘Browse All’ screen. After the user is done exercising, information on burned calories, exercise details, and physical changes is automatically recorded. Charts and graphs are displayed to show the user’s progress, enabling the user to draw up or adjust exercise plans.
